This position is located at Barr Memorial Library This position is a FLEX position. FLEX positions can be worked anywhere between 0 - 40 hours per week. Twenty (20) hours are guaranteed. Duties

Provides technician support by performing a wide variety of direct services to the public. Maintains accountability records and in performing shelf inventories. Performs simple maintenance on the library's automated systems. May perform physical activity such as long periods of standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, pushing of loaded trucks. Assists customers in locating materials; and/or provides technical services support in a variety of functions: basic/copy cataloging, ordering/receiving/processing and de-acquisitioning of library materials. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Health and immunizations are required.

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade Or Two years of education above high school Or A combination of specialized experience and education that equates to 100% of the qualification requirements.
