You will serve as a SharePoint Programmer/Developer using knowledge of .NET framework and associated languages in website design and application development to create a robust SharePoint based intranet and associated applications. You will lead efforts to analyze programs including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of problem programs and designing solutions to problematic programming. This position is located at HOPPER GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS CENTER in Suitland, Maryland.

Duties

You will be responsible for analyzing systems and creating, testing, implementing, maintaining, and documenting programs. You will develop, support, and install software applications and components. You will investigate and develop new skills in technologies. You will guide and advise on the design, development, testing and implementation of applications and components based on functional and system requirements. You will lead and participate in the planning and implementation of new SharePoint initiatives.

Qualifications

Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: 1. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilize knowledge and skills in SQL, application of query language, web development tools, structured programming, and understanding of the software development life cycle to create a SharePoint based intranet and its associated applications; Lead planning and collaborative efforts to automate and improve existing workflows; Develop and use business requirements and technical definitions for development and testing of applications to deliver business solutions.
