Salary: $59 407 - 93 437 per year

You will serve as a Business Management Specialist in the Business Operations, Headquarters Commandant of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Duties

You will review and analyze requisition packages for a variety of statistical and narrative information that fully describes the requirements and it's desired outcome. You will ensure requirement packages comply with both internal and external processes and policies. You will coordinate contract modifications, terminations, and close outs. You will reconcile invoice payments or disbursements in the event of a discrepancy. You will record incoming actions into business management operating systems. You will collaborate with internal and external groups to correct deficiencies and conduct process improvements.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

GS 11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience should include most or all of the following: 1) Analyzing acquisition package contents to determine validity of request and obtaining documentation necessary to complete the package. 2) Reviewing and processing incoming acquisition requirements packages and other administrative/collection and payment requests. 3) Performing various contract administration functions to include utilizing business operations information management systems to track progress of requisitions. 4) Assisting with cradle-to-grave maintenance of the automated acquisition/funding document tracking system and hard copy files. 5) Ensuring compliance with terms and conditions of contracts and funding types GS 9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience should include most or all of the following: 1) Reviewing and analyzing acquisition packages contents to assist with determining validity of requests and obtaining documentation necessary to complete the package. 2) Following procedures and guidelines to process incoming acquisition requirements packages and other administrative/collection and payment requests. 3) Utilizing business operations information management systems to input relevant information. 4) Assisting with cradle-to-grave maintenance of the automated acquisition/funding document tracking system and hard copy files. Education

Education GS-09: Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

Education GS-11: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
