Duties
You will administer procedures for military family housing and military unaccompanied housing to ensure assignment, occupancy, and termination comply with established policies.
You will advise management issues and complaints to ensure resolution comply with housing administration procedures.
You will coordinate maintenance, repair, or alteration work required for housing facilities to accomplish needed improvements.
You will allocate resources for expenditures of facility projects to ensure efficient use of resources.
You will train staff to ensure policies and procedures relative to the assignment of occupancy, termination, and utilization of government quarters are followed.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to wear protective gear including hard hats, boots, and coveralls while visiting housing units or facilities undergoing inspection, repair, maintenance, or renovation..
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting inspections of housing facilities to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance and habitability of the unit, furnishings, and equipment; 2) Applying applicable federal, command, and local policy to housing management (i.e. assignment, inspections, maintenance, cleanliness, etc.); 3) Counseling service members on the availability, type, and size of quarters available; and 4) Planning work assignments based on priorities and staff capabilities.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
