Qualifications

GS-12: You qualify for the GS-12 level (starting salary $71,099) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level performing duties such as: providing technical advice on the management and operation of government owned/leased vehicles; monitoring vehicle inventory and utilization to compile periodic vehicle utilization reports; and making recommendations on the purchase of additional and replacement vehicles. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. The qualification requirements listed above must be met by the closing date of this announcement.Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
