Duties
Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager.
Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery.
Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts.
Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions.
Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Must possess the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service.
- Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts.
- Must be 18 years of age at time of appointment (PROJECTED APPOINTMENT DATE: approximately 2-4 weeks).
Qualifications
Possesses related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above.
