THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, Position Description Number D0872P01 and is part of the ARMY AVIATION SUPPORT FACILITY 3, National Guard.
This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.
Duties
As a Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12, you will perform work involved in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, calibrating, aligning, and maintaining the complete electronic integrated systems on Army National Guard helicopters.

- This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.

- Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

Qualifications
Military Grades: Enlisted
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the applicants knowledge of electronic theories and practices to identify, isolate and repair malfunctions in one or more complex integrated systems where knowledge of the entire system is necessary to interpret error data and trace back through a number of units of the system to locate deficiencies. Thorough knowledge of principles of digital and analog circuits, electro-mechanical devices, solid state devices, digital techniques, synchro/servo operation and integrated circuit theory. Ability to interpret and trace schematics, logic and wiring diagrams and use a wide variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE).
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 18 months experience or training in utilizing principles, basic functions and application of theory of electronic integrated systems equipment. Experience in diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic integrated systems equipment. Experience in making mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment. Experience in using a wide variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE). Experience which demonstrates the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications, and publications.
