Duties
Perform the full range of work involving the maintenance, installation, and repair of a wide variety of electrical,
electronic and hydraulic door operator systems, doors, elevators, vacuum tube system and docklock/dock.
Perform analysis, troubleshooting, repair and modification on the systems as required.
Provide technical advice and assistance to employees in the troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and/or modification of doors and operator systems.
Disassemble, replaces worn or defective parts and reassembles.
Inspect and perform preventative maintenance to buildings, facilities and equipment utilizing skills in several trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting.
Perform scheduled maintenance and makes necessary mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs as required.
Must possess valid state driver?s license.

- This is a Mission Essential (ME) position. The incumbent may be required to report to work in the event
of a natural disaster, inclement weather, or crisis.

Qualifications
Applicants will be rated in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standard for Trades and Labor Occupations. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required, you must meet any screen-out element listed, and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties at the level for which you are applying. Emphasis is placed on how you gained the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time, and the required ability or potential to perform the job. Applicants who do not meet the screen-out element (SOE) will be eliminated from further competition. The SOE and minimum qualifications for this position is:
