This position is part of the Office of the Associate Administrator for Information and Chief of Information Officer. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Chief of Staff with responsibility for overseeing support service contractors performing work in the functional areas of Information Technology, Mission Integration and Cybersecurity.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression (NNSA pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service i.e., NQ/NN/EN-03 or GS-13).
Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience providing leadership, administrative and professional services directly affecting a large program or enterprise in order to manage and make decisions regarding infrastructure or infrastructure-related activities, to include extensive knowledge of developing and formulating federal budget requests and justifications, development and execution of enterprise software systems, development and implementation of program/project management policies and procedures, establishing and overseeing federal contracts, enterprise status and conditions.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
