You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (OA) in the ADJUTANT DIVISION of MCRD ERR PI SC.

Duties

You will begin all responsibility statements with 'You will'; each field should have no more than one sentence; list the responsibilities in a logical order; and avoid using federal or military jargon. 250 Characters. You will review past and present program resource use to identify trends, discrepancies, or problems requiring further study by higher level employees You will present project status to senior leadership in response to their inquiries You will prepare program materials (e.g., slides, charts) to be utilized in briefings or meetings You will review proposed directives for consistency with established policies and directives You will maintain materials (e.g., directives, instructions, regulations, policy agreements) for compliance with operational standards

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
  • This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing a variety of clerical, administrative, and technical duties/responsibilities including directives and records management and maintaining awards management program in support of management with the intent to contributing to the efficient and effective accomplishment of the objectives of an overall organization.
