You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Office of the Chief Management Officer, Under Secretary of the Navy of DON OCMO.
Duties
You will serve as the Department of the Navy (DON) Office of the Chief Management Officer (OCMO) enterprise project leader and report directly to the Director for program development and a wide range of analytical and management functions.
You will independently plan, direct, coordinate, and expedite projects and coordinate meetings.
You will provide internal and external liaison on all Business Process Reengineering (BPR), Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and continuous process improvement (CPI) policy and implementing procedures, and programming and project management.
You will provide leadership and guidance for performance management.
You will be responsible for analysis, facilitation, reporting, and providing recommendations for process improvements, improving quality, reducing costs, and establishing appropriate process metrics and process controls.
You will undertake special studies and carry out sensitive and critical assignments and oversee completion of assignments.
You will provide project status reports as required, which may include briefings to internal and external customers as well as all levels of management.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and/or overtime.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Performing gap analysis and developing systematic process improvement and problem solving;
2. Conducting or directing business case analysis, initiating and follow through for a process improvement project, and assessing complex problems at the enterprise level;
3. Collaborating with stakeholders to support systematic process and transformational efforts throughout organization;
4. Providing guidance and instruction while ensuring teams use an organized, structured, and robust process improvement methodology with the goal of providing recommendations, implementing solutions, and providing adequate follow-up to ensure controls are maintained/reinforced;
5. Responsible for analysis, facilitation, reporting, and providing recommendations for improving quality, reducing costs, and establishing appropriate performance management metrics; and
6. Providing project status reports to customers and all levels of management.
