As a Program Analyst responsible for providing in-depth analysis on a variety of subject matter involving the evaluation of GSA programs.
This position is located in General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) of the National Capital Region (NCR).We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Performs administrative work and analysis in one or more of the following areas: personnel management/administration, organizational design, workforce development, budgeting and financial management, procurement and contracting, business strategy, information technology, property management, and/or supply; provides expertise and technical advice on all administrative matters.
Defines measurements useful for specific purposes and determines the best and most efficient types of approach to the collection of quantitative information.
Performs program cost analyses such as development of life cycle or other cost analyses of projects, or performance of cost benefit or economic evaluations of programs.
Evaluates programs and processes and makes recommendations for effective organizational and/or operational changes.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
- Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable

The GS-12 salary range starts at $94,199 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Analyzing, preparing and monitoring administrative or budget programs; 2) Performing resource review, utilization, and planning; and 3) Applying a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess organizational performance against established goals and objectives.
