About the Position: Serves as an Information Technologist Specialist performing work, independently or as a member of a team, in the administration, development, delivery and support of information technology (IT) systems and services located at Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM), Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Duties

Serves as an analyst for matters related to the acquisition of information management and technology (IMT) hardware, software, and services. Responsible for reviewing proposed IMT business requirements, contractual actions for conformance with regulatory requirements and procurement practices. Required to develop policies and procedures or provide advice and guidance to CIO concerning a variety of procurement issues. Conducts market research and prepares and analyzes analysis of alternatives, develops performance work statements/statements of work, negotiates with vendors and customers, and manages contract performance.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• The Incumbent must meet the IA Security+ requirements of DoD 8570.01M within 6 months of employment.
