The selectee of this position serves as a Publication Specialist. You will be responsible for managing, printing, design, and exhibit production projects and manages administrative assignments related to support of PMSO services.
Duties
As a Publication Specialist at the GS-1001-12 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Updating website, intranet, and SharePoint site information using HTML, Java, moveable type, or similar blogging software.
Providing updates on electronic forms on the intranet utilizing Microsoft PowerApps and/or InfoPath technologies, as well as those generated with Adobe Experience Manager and/or Adobe LiveCycle Designer
Analyzing materials submitted, identifying points of emphasis, correcting inconsistencies, and organizing data logically to communicate the information effectively.
Planning, scheduling, guiding, and coordinating the work of the contractor team to meet established program/mission goals and broad program objectives set by the Branch Chief and higher-level management

Qualifications
GS-12 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-1001-12 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualifications:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade GS-11 in the Federal Service performing duties which include: 1) Performing work related to visual information, including using computer-based programs to create graphics, illustrations, presentations, and photos, for print, digital, and web-based products; 2) Preparing draft products and layouts that convey an effective visual design; 3) Serving as a visual communication expert, providing advice, product recommendations and planning support AND 4). Organizing, tracking, and handling teams with multiple projects simultaneously and initiating regular updates to leadership on their progress.
