You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the CYBER SECURITY OFFICE, ACIO/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION of the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $145,617).
Duties
You will serve as a technical expert responsible for account management supporting NSWC IHD civilians and contractors in obtaining and maintaining system access for all NSWC IHD managed systems and external systems.
You will provide account management services ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, security, reliability and availability of government information technology systems.
You will develop account management strategies to improve processes and find efficiencies.
You will manage the NAVSEA NSWC IHD SAAR Tracker to include analyzing data and identifying trends, presenting data to Command leadership, and coordinating changes with Web Administrators.
You will perform local software administration of the NSWC IHD Alternate Token Issuance Workstation to ensure tokens are issued and revoked in accordance with Navy Cyber Security Standards.
You will develop and manage Cyber Security standard operating procedures and instructions that improve the information security posture of managed systems.
You will develop and manage solutions to obtain approvals for purchases including Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs), Procurement Requests (PRs), contracts, and post order logistical support of delivery of hardware and software.
You will oversee all procurements of cybersecurity related hardware, software, and services in support of the Unclassified Research Development Test and Evaluation Network.
You will develop, manage and deliver the Information Assurance orientation training to ensure new employees are aware of their responsibilities as it relates to Navy system access and will oversee the check-out process.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Technical Support Specialist level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector administering or managing Information Technology systems to include leading in the assessment, development, or implementation of cyber security requirements while ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations.
