Duties
The Engineering Laboratory promotes U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology for engineered systems in ways that enhance economic security and improve quality of life.
If selected, you will support and advise the Engineering Laboratory Director and Deputy Director regarding safety, facilities, OU-wide operations, employee satisfaction and engagement, and recruitment for critical leadership positions. You will lead broad organizational efforts in the areas listed above to optimize the execution of programs in safety, facilities, employee engagement/retention/recruitment.

Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 (ZP-IV at NIST) or equivalent grade level. Specialized experience is defined as expertise and experience in organizational operations, planning, and execution, including staff and executive safety. This includes experience and expertise in analysis, planning and execution of technical programs and operations in a large complex scientific environment as well as expertise in project management of cross-functional and organization-wide initiatives.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
