About the Position: This position is located in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at Falls Church, Virginia under the policy guidance and direction of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD (HA)). Duties

Independently manages office operations and provides recommendations on various administrative subjects. Develops protocols for managing the office task list and files plan, contact list, and calendar, to include guidelines for determining data elements for entry, input format, update procedures, and completion/removal of data and files. Incumbent serves as Human Resource (HR) action officer for IS Branch and backup for the Strategy Management Division. Collects and maintains pertinent data and conducts program planning studies for special projects and requirements. Gathers and assembles data and prepares periodic formal reports and analyses for CPI/LSS Program Branch Chiefs. Incumbent serves as CPI/LSS Training and Certification Data Manager.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Providing program support to include administrative, budget, logistical, and data management; Providing human resource support with processing actions and general human resource inquiries; Assisting with projects and studies involving healthcare and financial resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration, Public Health Administration, or Healthcare Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
