You will serve as a Site Director of Cheatham Annex and Yorktown SMSB warehouse at Williamsburg , VA in the Supply Management Department Mid-Atlantic, South Division of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.
Duties
You will serve as the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN), Williamsburg Site expert in supply operations and advisor and have managerial responsibilities for all functional areas administered to the supported customers.
You will be responsible for ensuring all major functions are accomplished in a timely and accurate fashion to
ensure the successful completion of associated mission objectives
You will manage the Williamsburg site to satisfy objectives in support of the Command's mission by maintaining the flow and quality of work to assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload
You will identify courses of action to be taken by the Wiliamsburg site having to do with long range planning, major policy or procedural requirements/changes in the supply support of Williamsburg site's customers.
You will provide the leadership necessary to maintain an effective and productive work force and ensure a
continuous flow and exchange of information between employees.
You will plan work to be accomplished, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare work completion schedules.
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of assignment difficulty and requirements, and the employee's capabilities.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing Supervisory Supply Management Specialist work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing an extensive knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships with expertise in physical distribution and material accountability operations, workflow analysis methods, and the interrelationships between functions sufficient to direct the site operations of a large industrial warehouse. You have expert knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the stock management and material control program. You also have experience supervising subordinate employees performing supply related work, assigning work, evaluating performance, and handling personnel matters. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Initiating long-range plans and strategies to improve material processes; 2) Developing studies to generate applicable managerial information to improve effectiveness and accuracy of supply operations and chairing/serving on committees to study and evaluate opportunities to improve overall responsiveness of the supply system; 3) Evaluating subordinates against performance standards, reviewing performance of personnel rated by Branch supervisors, and writing and/or approving award recommendations.
