About the Position: This position is with the 377th Theater Sustainment Command Command Group, 377 Mission Support Element, located in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.
Duties
Create and submit Defense Travel System (DTS) authorizations and voucher.
Maintain multiple calendars.
Coordinate and manage appointments for the Commanding General.
Develop and implement policies and procedures.
Coordinate command activities.
Provide guidance on regulations to command group.
Prepare and manage command group and General Officer correspondence.
Coordinate and manage travel for a General Officer and the Command staff.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or requirements requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing, evaluating and implementing administrative management guidance essential to the direction and operation of the organization; managing arrangements for executive personnel; manage and schedule long range calendar; draft and finalize correspondence for signature of executive personnel; use automated systems such as DTS or RLAS to coordinate/prepare travel arrangements or track funding estimates and expenditures; identify key issues and events concerning management and ensure proper details and logistics are coordinated for mission accomplishment; represent executive staff at conferences, trainings, or social events; applies qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of programs within the organization; and to develop and implement efficient and effective administrative policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Human Resources Management and Administration Management.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
