You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE of NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY MONTEREY.
Duties
You will assist the Administrative Officer in managing the human resources essential to the direction and operation of the organization.
You will advise management on a wide range of proposals, policies, and procedures which influence manpower and position management.
You will act as point of contact for all award submissions ensuring they meet required criteria before review by senior leadership.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing personnel management in reference to manpower, personnel, administrative actions and development; 2) Reporting and elevating timekeeping system problems for resolution and tracks resolution to completion; 3) Obtaining information using oral and written communication to convey instructions and organize thoughts clearly and logically; 4) Operating a variety automated software to train office personnel on the use of automated travel systems and personnel management databases.
