Duties

As an Supervisory Accountant, at full performance level you will perform the following duties: Providing advice in accounting policies and financial management program goals. Planning, establishing, and maintaining business process that contribute to effective management control over program operations. Gathersing, analyzing, and compiling financial data to provide financial advisory services and to convey financial information in a variety of written forms such as cost and budget reports. Effectively communicating, orally and in writing

You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Performing ledger operations; Interpreting accounting data for program officials, managers, and line supervisors; Assisting in the planning, developing, writing, and reviewing internal controls or guidance; Recommending, implementing or writing changes to eliminate recurring errors in accounting systems..
