The selectee for this position will serve as a Machinist Supervisor I in Shop 31 CNC & Precision Machining Shop 31A, Mechanical Division (TRF-320), Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will be responsible for planning, directing and managing the performance of manufacturing, repair, maintenance, overhaul, installation of submarine machinery and equipment You will provide technical direction over work efforts of subordinates to ensure efficient and effective accomplishment of shop operations. You will provide administrative supervision over shop operation. You will plan weekly work schedules to be accomplished by shop subordinates.

Experience providing help to mechanics or work leaders in accomplishing difficult tasks and processes. Experience measuring machinery equipment. Experience dismantling , moving, relocating, and installing various types of submarine and shipboard machinery.
