About the Position: When a current Army employee with personal competitive status accepts a time-limited appointment, the Army employee forfeits their permanent status and becomes subject to the provisions of the term or temporary appointment.
Permanent employees who accept time-limited appointments will not have placement rights to the previously held permanent position at the end of the time-limited appointment.
Management may make a selection from any grade level.
Duties
Serve as principal functional and technical expert for workforce-management activities for Honolulu District Corps of Engineers.
Serve as primary liaison with the District's Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC), Civilian Personnel Processing Center (CPPC) and the Resource Management Office (RMO)
Maintain files and documents on all actions.
Manage the DA Intern Program.
Prepare Permanent Change of Station authorizations in accordance with Department of Defense Joint Travel Regulation and Department of State Standardized Regulation guidelines.
Coordinate and administer the District?s recruitment program.
Monitor personnel actions for the District and serves as liaison to resolve issues and problems relating to District personnel actions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 5%.
