About the position: This position will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, Club XL, located at Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas. This position is Flexible, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits. This position requires continuous standing, walking, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and bending for long periods of time.

Duties

Prepares hot cereals, broiled meats; prepares and cooks concentrated or dehydrated soups, sauces, and gravies; makes cold sandwich fillings. Prepares items such as frozen hash browns, fish fillets and chicken nuggets. Prepares food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring or breading; weighs, measures and assembles ingredients. Sets up and replenishes salad bar; portions foods for distribution. Washes and cleans kitchen equipment. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination, and one every three years thereafter.
• This position requires the incumbent to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and/or complete Food Handlers Training.
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

Education
