This position is located at Fort Campbell, KY, Warrior Zone. The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Fort Campbell and surrounding areas. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntary Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.) This is a Flexible position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans.

Duties

Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Clean floors, walls and windows in kitchen, dining and storage areas. Portions out food, cleans and prepares meats and seafood for cooking. Makes a variety of fruit and vegetable salads. Serves food, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Sets tables, seats guests, records guests' selections and turns in orders to the kitchen. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position.
• Must be able to work during the hours of operation to include nights and weekends.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of4 hours refresher training annually.
• Must meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are: Must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and/or nonalcoholic beverages. Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred: Experience in a food and beverage establishment Customer service skills **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first.
