You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the BUSINESS AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.
Duties
You will provide department managers with service, information and recommendations concerning resource management functions.
You will assist in the execution of the training budget and monitor training expenditures using a memorandum accounting system.
You will administer the department's awards program (i.e. preparing associated personnel actions; letters; certificates and presentation folders; pins; Length of Service).
You will be the departmental point-of-contact for timekeeping questions regarding procedures and command CRMM database.
You will initiate actions to correct payroll discrepancies. In-puts daily time for department staff. Distributes time and attendance certification sheets.
You will manage the department's correspondence management and directives programs; prepare department correspondence.
You will prepare directives and technical standard operating procedures in the prescribed format using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing administrative support in an office setting to include preparing or reviewing office budget reports including travel, supplies, or training; procuring office supplies or equipment; arranging travel using an automated travel system; and extracting data from an automated source to prepare reports.
