Duties
Serve as Human Resources Development Program Manager responsible for administering programs relevant to the human capital initiatives of workforce employees.
Manage the planning of projects related to Human Resources Development to ensure employees are properly trained to execute assigned missions.
Identify training needs of employees and provide needed development and training.
Develop management practices that contribute to the overall effectiveness of program offices throughout the organization.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- A one year supervisory probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Must submit a Financial Disclosure Statement (OGE-450) upon entering the position and annually thereafter.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Analyze budget requirements for human resources programs; 2) Communicate with senior leaders in professional organizations for workforce planning. 3)Mentor junior staff on work and administrative matters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/ GS-11 equivalent).
