Duties

As a Supervisory International Trade Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Leading and supervising an office/offices and multiple project teams consisting of professional personnel to accomplish organizational objectives. Providing oversight of trade promotion operations and agency metrics in the region, and planning, leading, and coordinating efforts of multiple organizations and participants in the implementation of agency programs. Overseeing the expansion of the assigned U.S. exporter base through regional staff; identifying export promotion and economic development partners in the Regional Strategic Plan. Specialized experience is defined as: leading trade programs, personnel, and managing budget resources; developing export trade strategies, programs, and positions; and developing partnerships with government, private, and/or non-profit groups in order to plan and coordinate multi-orginizational trade development initiatives.
