Duties
Assigns daily tasks and instructions to individuals of the work group from the supervisor, ensuring assigned staff are knowledgeable of operational leadership and they follow all safety and housekeeping rules.
Oversees, demonstrates, and performs work such as cleaning and disinfecting restroom facilities, sinks, toilets, floors, walls, and ceilings along with others to set the work pace.
Ensures all necessary plans, materials, supplies, equipment, and tools are available when needed.
Reports overall operations, progress, delays, and problems to supervisor and ensures FMSS daily work reports are correct prior to submittal to the Park Asset Manager.
Serves as primary purchasing agent for all micro purchases supporting the multiple functions of the Division of Facility Management.

Examples of Experience: Experience independently leading a crew of workers. Assigning daily tasks and giving instructions to crew members orally, in writing or electronically. Answering crew member questions and communicating with supervisor to obtain information on problems that arise during project. Oversee and perform work such as cleaning and disinfecting restroom facilities, sinks, toilets, floors, walls, and ceilings. Clean, vacuum, strip and re-waxing floors using proper techniques and chemicals. Recommend operational needs per work requests to supervisor. Keeps equipment clean and organized. Reports any equipment problems to the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor. You must meet level 2 on the screen out factor/element and an average of level 2 on all factors/elements.
