About the Position: This position is located at Directorate of Human Resources, Military Personnel Division. Fort Cavazos rests in the beautiful hill and lake country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio. The Great Place is the ideal location, because of warm winters and hot summers.

Duties

Counsel, instruct, and assist members of the installation filing US Passport applications. Verify applicant proof of citizenship through inspection of various citizenship documents. Prepare applicant case files for adjudication. Receive and account for passports. Utilize knowledge of the US immigration and Nationality Act, US Code of Federal Regulation, Department of State Foreign Clearance Guidance, Passport Agent's Manual, and other such applicable directives to accomplish assigned duties.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
