You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the Miramar S-4/Installations and Logistics Department of the MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.

Duties

You will manage complex real estate and real property transactions. You will provide realty administrative oversight to MCAS Miramar commercial out-lease. You will provide guidance to MCAS Miramar activities on more complex/difficulty actions concerning property transactions. You will represent the MCAS Miramar on interagency/inter-governmental coordination of real property transaction regulations and processes. You will identify or assist the Marine Corps in developing and refining their needs or the needs of programs and then translate the requirements into procurement specifications that serve as the bases of leases and other contractual documents.

Requirements

Qualifications

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing facility planning, real property assets, real estate and land use, encroachment and installation structure matters. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing real estate and realty property transactions, encroachment partnering public-private venture agreements, interprets and assesses applicability and intent of existing public laws. Education

GS-11 Applicants Only:
May also qualify based on education OR a combination of education and experience, in lieu of the one year of specialized experience listed above, through ONE of the following:

Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.

OR

Completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.

OR

Possession of LL.M., if related.

OR

Possess a combination of specialized experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal 100 percent.
