This position is for a Technical Coordinator for an assigned F&E Installation/Construction Center. The incumbent serves as the Engineering Technician (Coordinator) for all ATCF project activities related to on-site installation/construction. Serves as principle technical specialist/expert and primary on-site focal providing project installation/construction expertise in the preparation of the Project Work Plan as well as OSHA construction safety.

Duties

The incumbent plans, schedules, identifies required resources and coordinates execution of the installation/construction activities across multiple centers. Manages travel, hour, and material Work Orders.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • A valid state driver's license is required.
  • This position requires Occasional Travel.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-I level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Candidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility appropriate to the position. Specialized experience is experience with installation and modification of electronic equipment and mechanical systems. Equipment may include equipment related to radar systems, navigational aid equipment such as lighted and distance measuring equipment, communication systems such as radio/microwave communicationsEligible applicants meeting the minimum qualification requirements and selective factor(s), if applicable, may be further evaluated on the Demonstrated Abilities, listed in the announcement.
