The FAA international mission is to promote a safe, secure, seamless and sustainable global aerospace system. The Office of International Affairs provides leadership for the agency's international programs and initiatives for harmonization of aerospace standards, prioritization and coordination of technical assistance and training, cooperative research and development, information exchanges, and other forms of international collaboration.
Duties
The Director, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and International Training leads FAA’s interaction and engagement with the International Civil Aviation Organization. The Director is the primary interface for the Agency with the U.S. Mission at ICAO, the U.S. Air Navigation Commissioner, and the FAA Senior Representative in Montreal on matters affecting the success of the FAA’s goal of driving global standards based on U.S. and FAA technology and best practices. The Director oversees and provides day-to-day direction of the service unit components and staff of approximately eight (8) employees. The Director administers and manages a budget of $2.2M annually.

Qualifications
