The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) are the centerpiece of the Attorney General's strategy to combat transnational-organized-crime and to reduce the availability of illicit narcotics in the nation by using a prosecutor-led, multi-agency approach to enforcement. OCDETF leverages the resources and expertise of its partners in concentrated, coordinated, long-term enterprise investigations of transnational organized crime, money laundering, and major drug trafficking networks.

Duties

Recommends and advises the OFC Program Manager and OFC Director with planning requirements, problem identification/analysis, policy information, program development/evaluation and training. Develops metric products and performance reports for the quarterly and annual reports and makes recommendations based on findings. Develops, implements, and tracks qualitative and quantitative metrics used in workload analysis, time-management and scheduling, and performance/customer service reports and feedback. Coordination of intelligence products in collaboration with other investigative and intelligence-oriented agencies. Utilizes tracking and responding tools in conjunction with intelligence systems to track and monitor timeliness and accuracy of responses, as it pertains to formatting and coherence to guidelines and regulations. Develops partnerships with agency contacts to establish rapport, give guidance on requests and OFC processes, and manage expectations. Facilitates instructions and guidance to ensure shared understanding of services with partner agencies and task force working teams. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets, and adjusts priorities, evaluates work performance of subordinates, gives advice or instruction to employees. Provide analysis and research in the formulation or implementation of organizational policies or goals through the utilization of comprehensive data-base management. Develop documentation of long-range and short-range planning efforts, resources projections, priorities, or justifications Makes decisions affecting personnel without regard to political preference, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, or handicap, and with proper regard to employees' privacy. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of the employees Identifies training, conducts on-the-job training as required, develops strategies as required within the division. Develops and recommends changes in functions and organization of the division, participates in various management surveys, and assures full application of management improvement programs, such as position management effectiveness.

Requirements

  • You must be a United States Citizen or National.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Supervisory Management and Program Analyst at (GS-0343-14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level (GS-13), to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure you submit an applicable SF-50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information). Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as: Managing administrative functions, such as human resources, budget, or security; AND Assessing program development or execution. You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including Time-in-Grade, by the closing date of this announcement. Education
