About the Position: Serves as Training Specialist and Project Leader performing planning and analysis tasks concerned with new systems training on sustainment systems developed for and deployed to Active and Reserve Component personnel and organizations in garrison and field environments.

Duties

As Senior Specialist employee is accountable for assuring accurate and thorough results in the determination of new and/or enhanced guidance and requirements. Responsible for identifying and researching training materials that are applicable assigned program JCIDS requirement documents and ensuring that they are revised or rewritten to reflect new modifications that are required. Conducts New Systems Training Research, responsible for directing and/or conducting extensive and thorough research/study of assigned new systems in the field of Logistics Product Development. Incumbent conducts preparation of and revalidation of documentation for Quartermaster, Transportation, and Ordnance materiel to include heavy trucks, Environmental Control systems, Materiel Handling Equipment, Petroleum and Water systems training. Responsible for overseeing the effort to develop and publish specific pre-institutional course training materials and guidance used for the deliverance and execution of formal training relating to the Maintenance-Readiness Sustainment Functions.
