This position is part of the Office of the Secretary of Interior, Office of Natural Resources Revenue, Deputy Director, Strategic Resource Management, Facility & Support Services, Facility Services located in Lakewood, CO.
NOTE: This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies within the Office of Natural Resources Revenue.
Duties
Mail operations to include operating postage machine, delivering outgoing mail to USPS, collecting and distributing incoming mail, preparing FedEx labels
Personal property functions to include Receiving, Excess and inventory
Receives bulk IT equipment
Purchases and receives office supplies utilizing government purchase card
Inventories and maintains warehouse and warehouse equipment and personal property
Resolves customer requests for conference room set-up, furniture modifications and various building related issues.
Qualifications
At the GS-07 level, you must meet the following qualification:
One year of specialized experience that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-06 level. Specialized experience includes: conduct inventories of supplies and/or personal property; responsible for the collection and distribution of mail, bulk supplies, and/or resolution of misdirected mail and/or packages; conduct routine maintenance inspections on warehouse equipment and motor vehicles; performs safety inspections on equipment or motor vehicles; ability to work with power tools to modify system furniture in an office setting.

TIME-IN-GRADE: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).
A written test is not required.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
