Duties
You will develop and administer the security force and training program.
You will prepare long range, quarterly, and monthly training plans in Crime Prevention, Security Watch, Physical Security, and Information Security.
You will conduct physical security surveys, inspections, and audits.
You will conduct long and short tern investigations when solutions cannot be achieved during the course of a normal patrol shift.
You will evaluate crime prevention programs and recommend changes to reduce opportunities for theft, illegal entry, or other kinds of violations.
You will maintain procedure for operation of radios during power outages, threat conditions, five, or natural disasters.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short term/long term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
You will review work methods and procedures for opportunities to improve efficiency or effectiveness, has responsibility for finding ways to eliminate significant bottlenecks and barriers to production.
You will Identify developmental and training needs for employees and provides for or arranges needed development and training.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Must possess and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination and annual examination.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing advice in all matters pertaining to security and guard force personnel; conducting daily inspections of each of the posts; ensuring the guards maintain a good state of police readiness and are acting in accordance with their general and special orders.
