This position is part of the WAPA-DSW-Desert Southwest. As an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Electronic Equipment Craftsman (EEC), you will maintain, modify, install, repair, program, and test a variety of simple to complex electronic equipment used in communication, control process computers, and supervisory control systems. **This is not a remote position. The selectee will be required to be physically present at either the Boulder City, NV or Bullhead City, AZ duty location.**

Duties

Electronic Equipment Craftsman maintain, modify, install, repair, program, and test a variety of simple to complex electronic equipment used in these categories: communication, control process computers, and supervisory control systems. Perform database modification. Develop software test routines for verifying communication settings and operational specifications. Perform work on communications equipment that is used for power system operation and control, relaying, data logging, and indication.

Qualifications: You must have journeyman-level ability in the duties of an Electronic Integrated System Mechanic (EEC). You must meet all the qualification and eligibility requirements for the position by the closing date of the announcement. Ability to do the work of an Electronic Equipment Craftsman independently and without more than normal supervision (install and commission, or maintain and repair, at least four of the following: microwave radio, mobile radio, voice and data communications, SCADA/RTU, fiber optic cable and multiplex equipment.

Education cannot be substituted for experience for this position.
