This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 10 base salary, or if the incumbent's salary current exceeds the GS-13, step 10 level the incumbent's salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary.
Duties
Discuss and help customer with their business requirements for a wide range of system and process improvement projects.
Support complex daily operations within the Sales Distribution (SD) Systems Application and Products (SAP) modules.
Consult with multiple business process owners to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current business processes, and procedures
Review the functional and/or technical specs written by other business or technical analysts and provide feedback
Perform complex master data and transactional SAP system configuration or ABAP for standard SAP solutions.
Perform complex functional and technical trouble shooting to resolve basic production support issues.
Requirements
- Business travel maybe required occasional travel .
- One year probation maybe required.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technology Management certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below based on the grade level required of the position being filled:

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience is defined as: 1. Configure or/use ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) in the Systems Application and Products (SAP), Sales & Distribution and sub areas modules; 2. Provide production support within the Sales and Distribution (SD) area of SAP, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; and 3. Assist customers with business requirements for system and process improvement projects.
