Duties
Serve as a Supervisory Program Manager within the Grants Management Division providing executive leadership and accountability to subordinate senior managers and staff who provide grants management support to NIST, NTIA and Census.
Provide program management direction and oversight of the implementation of new grants programs at NIST and other DOC grant programs, including but not limited to programs funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors for America Act (CHIPS) and Science Act of 2022 (CHIPS).
Direct the day-to-day operations of the subordinate staff offices, through subordinate supervisors.
Exercise leadership in the formulation and promulgation of Department-wide and NIST policy and regulations governing the Department and NIST grants programs and provides functional management oversight over the Department and NIST grants programs.
Lead organizational development and workforce initiatives, supports resource allocations and manages the day-to-day operations of the assigned group.

Qualifications
To qualify, candidate must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level (ZA-IV at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience in leading and driving change in in a sizable organization, providing executive leadership and direction for human resources, and administrative management functions for the organization, coordinating the implementation of Federal wide or Departmental grants policies and regulations; and completing a strategic evaluation and review of assigned resources that is adaptable to emergent program, staff development and other organization needs.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
