This position is located in the Experience Management Staff Office (XMO),Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Experience Management Staff Office (XMO) manages the experience for customers (employees and contractors within the Agency) who receive products and services from the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) .

Duties

The XMO is a start-up organization within the OCIO committed to enabling simple and seamless experience with IT products and services to every customer. The Experience Designer reports to the XMO Manager and will lead customer experience projects (XMO refers to these projects as ‘experience engagements’) that facilitate OCIO action from customer insights. The incumbent serves as the lead on Experience Engagement.

  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is: Experience with designing and managing complex customer experience studies, initiatives, and data gathering efforts to drive action from a diverse audience, this includes designing surveys, conducting interviews and focus groups, secondary research, and/or facilitating interactive workshops.Applicants should provide examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
