About the Position: This position is located within Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA), Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (LRD Regional CPAC) where you will function as a Human Resources Specialist within the Programs and Special Projects Team performing civilian human resources functions and establishing management controls, implementing instructions, and guidelines to assist in the effective management of programs related to staffing and classification.
Duties
Serve as a staff action officer to resolve complex civilian human resources issues.
Produce numerous Human Resources reports impacting Staffing and Classification.
Analyze the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of current programs and projects.
Develop and present training/briefing modules on Staffing and Classification.
Conduct special projects to identify and resolve operating issues.
Develop procedures to define internal operating processes.
Provide automation support for Human Resources Systems.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interpreting a wide range of human resources laws, regulations, and policies to provide human resources management advisory regarding classification and staffing; providing technical and operational assistance across the Human Resources functional specialties of classification and staffing; developing and conducting training on various Human Resources programs; and conducting special projects and human resources reports to resolve operating issues within the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).
