You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEM ANALYST in the SUPPLY DEPARTMENT, SUBMARINE READINESS SQUADRON of SUBMARINE READINESS SQUADRON THREE TWO.
Duties
You will provide technical expertise in logistics, inventory, and configuration management, as related to automated supply, to submarines in extended availabilities through on-site assistance and implementation.
You will provide problem solving analysis database validation, database correction, and reconciliations management.
You will participate in meetings with supervisors, ISIC's, and TYCOM to plan and coordinate long and short term organizational procedures and priorities.
You will prepare and make oral and written presentations concerning any or all aspects of the project, logistics, and ILO/ILR.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying knowledge of the Navy's supply and logistics management programs, systems, logistics support data elements, instructions, policies, techniques and practices;
Experience applying knowledge of techniques and methods to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of supply operations that support the Submarine Forces mission;
Experience reading and interpreting all automated Relational Supply (R-SUPPLY), Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA), and Organizational Maintenance Management System - Next Generation (OMMS?NG) reports;
Experience applying knowledge of the Integrated Logistics Overhaul (ILO) function, operation and services;
Experience using computers, including Microsoft Office.

Education
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
Possession of an LL.M. that is related to this position being filled.

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
