About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Cyber Center of Excellence, Fort Gordon, GA.

Duties

Recommends instructional strategies and prepares instructional material. Adapts and revises course Training Support Documents (e.g., Soldier's Training Publication (STP), Course Management Plan (CMP), Master Training Schedule (MTS), and Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP)). Prepares for and participates in quality assurance assessments, making expeditious revisions as delegated. Recommends validation plans and conducts learning product validations. Inputs draft course scope, prerequisites, and special information into the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) when submitting revised CADs or POIs. Consults with the educational professionals and subject matter experts (SME) to resolve problems and differences of opinion concerning ongoing design and development of Army training and evaluation materials (e.g., STP, ETV). Utilizes knowledge of education and training to prepare documents, surveys, and memoranda for briefings at CT/SSB in-process review (IPR) meetings.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by knowledge of Signal Communications; practical knowledge in education and training to develop and evaluate training materials; knowledge of the analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating (ADDIE) process. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
