You will serve as a TOOLMAKER LEADER in the Mechanical Shop (Code 930) Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

You will demonstrate proper work methods. You will ensure safe work practices and good housekeeping while assuring timely tool, equipment, material, and procedure availability. You will utilize information from blueprints, sketches, and work documents to plan and execute the sequence of work tasks. You will keep the first line supervisor informed of problems associated with these items. You will perform work in radiological areas and use tools, materials, and equipment specified in nuclear technical documents.

I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection I have the ability to perform common tasks under general supervision including utilizing toolmaking systems and equipment.
