About the Position: The primary purpose of this position is: To prepare and expedite service orders; receive, screen, and process work requests; provide technical assistance to Operations and Maintenance personnel on the Defense Medical Logistics Support System (DMLSS); provide guidance and assistance to customers. The organizational location of this position is: Medical Logistics Flight, 60 Medical Support Squadron, 60th Medical Group, 60 AMW, Travis AFB.
Duties
Maintains control of all work requests, service orders, and real property installed equipment projects in the system.
Interacts with customer on project specifications or scheduling timelines.
Develops and processes all facility Civil Engineering Work Requests and Environmental Assessments.
Prepares meeting minutes for the facility space utilization, facility utilization board, and environment of care committee.
Initiates, coordinates, and tracks Life Safety work requests submission through closeout.
Prepare and expedite service orders.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires a National Agency Check w/ Inquiries (NACI) background check.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination. A candidate selected to this position will be required to sign a statement consenting to annual seasonal influenza vaccination.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
- This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with Army Regulation 40-562, Chapters 3 and 4.
- This position may be eligible for Situational/Ad-HOC Telework.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Training and Certifications from the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross within 6 months of hire.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level that shows 1. Ability to maintain plans, schedules, or timelines for maintenance, repair, and construction; 2. Experience with records maintenance and documentation and 3) Knowledge of procedures and guidelines relating to control, tracking, and adjusting work requests, service orders, and/or environmental assessments.
