You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (APPSW/SYS ANALYSIS) in the Information Systems Division, Fleet Readiness Center South East of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will administer software applications to achieve a complete operational system.
You will analyze information systems to determine function or level of security.
You will administer a database system to meet current and future business requirements of an organization's users.
You will define components, modules, or interfaces for a system to fulfill specified requirements.
You will administer operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Linux, UNIX, or similar systems) to evaluate hardware or software systems in a virtual
environment.
You will develop and document information technology (IT) content needed for a document.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1. Writing and implementing efficient code using Java, JavaScript & CSS.2. Working on application development regarding cybersecurity.3. Researching software programs using the development lifecycle process.4. Testing and evaluating new programs.5. Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics.
Your experience must also reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
