You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the COMMANDER NAVAL AIR FORCE RESERVE, DCOS FOR AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE (N42) of COMNAVAIRES.
Duties
You will serve as the F-5 T/M/S Class Desk responsible for supporting the adversary aircraft training mission by providing life cycle logistics support for the F-5 adversary aircraft.
You will maintain a broad network of DoD, DON, inter-service, inter-agency, industry, and international contacts in order to provide the critical interface and support for Total Life Cycle Logistical Systems management or the F-5 aircraft.
You will analyze long and short term program objectives, operational requirements, and assist with corrective actions for readiness management identified deficiencies.
You will ensure all aircraft systems are maintained as required by approved configuration and maintenance directives/notices.
You will recommend and implement configuration improvements to increase operational readiness, capability, and safety of aircraft.
You will be responsible for oversight of readiness management data collection and population of appropriate charts and graphics used in presentations.
You will interface with other military and civilian agencies that provide source data and documentation of all supported aircraft.
You will be responsible for representing CNAFR in attendance of site surveys, planning conferences, program reviews, and inter-service conferences related to the applicable T/M/S.
You will manage and coordinate Depot level maintenance, rework, in-service repair, modifications, field teams and monitor contractor performance for quality of service.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is designated as a Noncritical/Sensitive and IT level II position IAW Chapter 5 of SECNAV M-5510.30.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying knowledge in Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) with knowledge of Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level maintenance concepts or similar.
Comprehensive experience of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) or similar guidelines as applicable to aviation contract maintenance and logistics services.
Experience working within the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) structure or similar, to include Current Readiness concepts and analysis principles.
Experience directing, developing, or performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the logistical actions required to support the F-5 T/M/S aircraft/weapon systems or similar.
Experience using MS Power Point, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, AMSRR, Deckplate, SHARP and Contract Support Maintenance to effectively produce management presentations and assemble data reports, schedules and briefs.
