Duties
You will provide C4I systems engineering knowledge to integrate C4I and Combat Systems in support of planned testing events.
You will work with the sponsors, other warfare centers, and other LSEs and SDMS on C4I design and integration efforts into afloat platforms.
You will assist the representatives from several NAVWAR PMWs and other stakeholders as required to support development of C4I systems.
You will also represent the program in briefs to external stakeholders to include but not limited to System Commands, other Program Executive Offices, U.S.
Government agencies, and Industry partners.
You will understand the preparation of engineering strategies and ensure the product codes are developing engineering processes that support timely delivery of required technical artifacts.
You will communicate afloat platforms program information across the sponsor and other relevant organizations to facilitate leveraging opportunities.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying to STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Designing, developing, integrating or installing communication products to support and align priorities and planning for afloat platform baselines; and developing requirements for systems and integration engineering while focusing on timely delivery of systems for afloat platforms.

Education
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in computer science OR a bachelor's or higher degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science OR at least 15 of my 30 semester hours were in a combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.
