You will serve as an Enterprise Analytics Architect reporting to the NAVAIR HQ Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO) of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Duties
You will create and improve data architectures which may include databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
You will be responsible for implementing analytical tools and frameworks that can help the organization make data-driven decisions.
You will be in collaboration with the Chief Data and Analytics Officer and data stewards to ensure the organization's data is secure, compliant with regulations, and used appropriately.
You will create and implement data governance policies and practices as well as designing systems to ensure data privacy and security.
You will create systems and procedures for data quality management, including data cleansing and data validation processes.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 422/Data Analyst level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Creating and improving data architectures, which may include databases, data lakes, and data warehouses to handle the volume and variety of data in the organization effectively; (2) Implementing analytical tools and frameworks that can help the organization make data-driven decisions that range from business intelligence (BI) software to more complex predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms; (3) Creating and implementing data governance policies and practices, as well as designing systems to ensure data privacy and security and remains compliant with regulations; and (4) Collaborating with functional Data Stewards to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and relevance is verified along with creating systems and procedures for data quality management, including data cleansing and data validation processes.

For 1515 Series: Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
